(Primghar)— A portion of Highway 60 was closed for a while Friday due to a jackknifed semi. The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 55-year-old Daryl Kats of Rock Valley was driving a 2006 Peterbilt northbound near Sheldon when the rig left the road to the left, crossed the center median and jackknifed, blocking both lanes of the highway.
Kats was taken by ambulance to the Sheldon hospital with minor injuries.
Officials say the weather was likely a contributing factor.
