(Spencer)– Seasons Center for Behavioral Health has been awarded a $2,900 grant from the Dickinson County Endowment Fund.
Sarah Heinrichs, Grants Project Administrator for Seasons Center, says the money will be used for Winter Wellness Baskets that will be distributed to about 60 families in Dickinson county. The baskets will contain items such as food and household pantry items, winter healthcare items, family-friendly activities and resources to promote positive mental health.
The baskets will be distributed to families experiencing or at-risk for anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges. They will also assist those families still recovering from stress and anxiety stemming from the pandemic.
Seasons Center will work with internal program staff and community partners to identify individuals and families who could benefit from the baskets.
