(Ruthven)– A single-vehicle rollover Wednesday in Palo Alto county sent one person to the hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol says 18-year-old Megan Rosacker of Ruthven was southbound on a county road when she crossed the center line and drove onto the northbound shoulder, losing control. The vehicle slid sideways into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.
Rosacker was taken by ambulance to Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg. There was no word on the extent of her injuries, but authorities say the use of seatbelts prevent her from receiving more serious injuries.
An estimate of damage to the vehicle wasn’t immediately available.
The mishap took place around 3:40 p.m.
