(Sanborn)– A single-vehicle rollover Friday sent a Hartley teen to the hospital with possible injuries.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Adam Vanderlaan was northbound on Sorrel Avenue about six miles northeast of Sanborn when he went into the east ditch due to strong winds. Authorities say he then over-corrected and went into the west ditch and a field, where the pickup rolled over once, coming to rest on its wheels.
Vanderlaan was taken by Melvin EMS to Sanford Hospital in Sheldon to be checked over for possible injuries.
750-dollars in damage was estimated to the 1992 Chevrolet S-10 pickup he was driving.
