Rollover Near Heron Lake Injures Worthington Man

(Heron Lake, Mn.)– A single-vehicle rollover Tuesday near Heron Lake sent one person to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 25-year-old David Vandergrift of Worthington was eastbound on Highway 60 just west of Heron Lake when the vehicle entered the median. Authorities say Vandergrift over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll in the ditch.

Vandergrift was taken by ambulance to Worthington Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 1999 Chevrolet Blazer he was driving was totaled.

The mishap took place shortly after 6:30 a.m.
