Rearend Collision On Hwy 86 Sends One Person To Hospital

(Lakefield, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Thursday on Highway 86 just south of Lakefield sent one person to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 19-year-old Lacie Mosley of Jackson was southbound and had slowed to make a left-hand turn when she was rearended by a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Jolene Prochaska of Jackson.

Mosley was taken to the Windom hospital to be checked for possible injuries; no injuries were reported to Prochaska.

A 1986 Chevrolet pickup driven by Mosley sustained moderate damage; a 1994 Geo Prism driven by Prochaska was totaled.

The mishap took place shortly before 4:00 p.m. Thursday.
