Public’s Assistance Requested In Vandalism Investigation

November 22, 2014

(Sheldon)– Some vandals have been at work in Sheldon, and authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in tracking them down.

Sheldon police say numerous businesses, buildings in the city park and the railroad depot have had grafiti spray painted on them in recent days.

Anyone with information is urged to contact CrimeStoppers, which is offering a 225-dollar reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction of whoever’s responsible. Anyone with such information should contact the Sheldon Police Department at (712) 324-2525 or the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office at (712) 957-3415.

Arrangements can be made to assist those who want to remain anonymous but still be eligible for the reward.
