(Estherville)– Portland, Oregon-based PPM Energy announced today (Fri.) it’s contributing 100-thousand dollars toward the construction of a new Wind Energey and Turbine Technology facility at the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.
PPM Energy operates a number of wind farms throughout the midwest and northeast.
Mark Perryman, Manager of wind operations and maintenance for PPM’s midwest wind farms, made the announcement at a reception at the Estherville ILCC campus. Perryman has worked with the college’s wind energy program since its inception in 2004.
