(Ruthven)– A single-vehicle rollover Thursday in Palo Alto county sent two people to the hospital with possible injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol says 31-year-old Brandy Conlon of Ruthven was northbound on County Road N-18 when she lost control of a 2003 Ford Expedition after trying to veer the vehicle back onto the road. It went into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its top.
Conlon and a passenger, Reese Conlon, were taken by ambulance to Palo Alto County Hospital where they were checked for possible injuries.
Five thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The mishap took place shortly after 7:00 a.m.
Authorities say it was snowing at the time and that slick roads were a factor.
