(Spencer)– The Positively Spencer organization is changing its name and logo and is announcing a new vision.
The organization is now calling itself “Spencer U.S.A”…which stands for Uncovering Spencer’s Assets.
The group is also now partnering with the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation.
Kevin Robinson, President of Spencer U.S.A, feels the partnership strengthens both entities in carrying out the mission of building quality communities and grooming leaders.
The logo consists of a green multi-hued tree trunk with branches representing each area–Live is represented by a family; Work by downtown buildings and Play, represented by the front gate at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
Holly Pearson, Economic Development Coordinator for the Iowa Lakes Development Corporation and a Spencer U.S.A member says their current project is to create a visioning project for the Spencer community.
