(Estherville)– Some major road work is scheduled to take place next year in Estherville. City Administrator Penny Clayton told the city council Monday evening she’s been notified by the Iowa Department of Transportation that they plan to do some re-surfacing work on Highway nine from the bridge and up half-mile hill to the city’s western city limits. Clayton says that’s in addition to plans to re-surface Highway 4 both north and south of Highway 9.
