Pickups Collide; Milford Woman Injured

November 22, 2014

(Fostoria)– A collision involving two pickups Wednesday at an uncontrolled gravel intersection near Fostoria injured a Milford woman.

The Iowa State Patrol says 42-year-old Inga Hoffman of Milford was southbound when she collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by 56-year-old Cedric Winterboer of Everly. Hoffman’s vehicle then went into the east ditch.

Hoffman was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital. There was no word on the extent or nature of her injuries. No injuries were reported to Winterboer.

A 1993 Dodge pickup driven by Hoffman and a 1995 Ford pickup driven by Winterboer both had to be towed from the scene. Damage estimates to the vehicles weren’t immediately available.

The State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Spencer ambulance and Fostoria Fire and Rescue.

The mishap took place around 12:45 p.m.
