(Milford)– Construction of the new Perkins restaurant on the north edge of Milford is nearing completion.
Developer Jim Rahfaldt says work on both the exterior and interior should be completed within the next few weeks. But he says the opening date will depend on the weather. Rahfaldt says they need to have the frost out of the ground to complete the parking lot. If all goes well he hopes to be up and running April 2nd.
Construction on the 5,300 square foot restaurant started in November of last year.
Rahfaldt says they’re currently taking applications for employment. They’re available at any Northwest Federal Savings Bank location in the lakes area. Rahfaldt says they received about 70 applications in the first week they started accepting them.
Rahfaldt says training will being one week prior to opening with corproate teams assisting for three weeks in the opening process.
The business will be open 24 hours a day.
