(Emmetsburg)– A Mallard woman was injured in a single-vehicle rollover earlier this week in Palo Alto county.
The Sheriff’s Office says Denise Taylor of Mallard was northbound on 460th Avenue when part of the rear axle broke on the 1998 Dodge Intrepid she was driving. Authorities say the back of the car came loose on the road. The vehicle then went into the west ditch where it rolled about four times…coming to rest on its wheels facing southeast.
Tayloer sustained an abrasion on her left shin and a laceration to her right abdomen area.
A male passenger wasn’t injured.
The vehicle was totaled.
The mishap was reported to authorities around 3:45 p.m. Monday.
