(Sibley)– If your travels take you on Highway Nine through Osceola county, we have some good news. At long last your ride is about to get smoother.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says a hot-mix overlay project will begin this coming Monday on Highway Nine from Osceola County Road M-18 to the Dickinson county line.
Officials say traffic in that area will restricted to one lane with flaggers and a pilot car assisting with traffic control.
The project is slated for completion by November 1st, weather permitting.
