Osceola Co. Traffic Stops Result In Drug Arrests

(Sibley)—Authorities in Osceola county say they’ve made several drug-related arrests in recent days as the result of traffic stops.

The first occurred Saturday following a traffic stop on Highway 59 north of Highway Nine.

Authorities say two occupants in the vehicle were allegedly in possession of a marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

30-year-old Martin Carillo and 30-year-old Lavinia Snowball-Barnett…both of Homer, Nebraska…were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were booked into the Osceola county jail on one thousand dollars bond.

Authorities say a traffic stop yesterday (Sun.) on Highway 60 north of Sibley resulted in the arrests of two other people on similar charges.

23-year-old Ty Anderson of Salt Lake City, Utah and 23-year-old Bryan Braithwaite of Idaho Falls, Idaho were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were booked into the Osceola county jail on 1,300-dollars bond each.

Osceola county authorities say a 16-year-old female juvenile from Hull was also charged today (Mon.) with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an unrelated traffic stop.
