(Okoboji)– As we reported previously, OkoboTree has reached a milestone with the completion of its 25th sculpted tree, including six new sculptures added in 2026 alone. Organizers say it puts the Iowa Great Lakes more than halfway toward becoming the largest community in the U.S for sculpted trees. In fact, Carrie Meyer, the organization’s Artistic Director, says work on the 26th sculpted tree got underway this (Fri.) morning in Milford.
Meyer adds they’re constantly looking for additional sites for sculptures…
Meyer says the property owner has a direct say in the design they would like…
Meyer adds they’ve compiled a map of where the tree sculptures are located…
The “Treesure Map” that has the locations of the tree sculptures can be found at their website, okobotree-dot-org.
