(Okoboji)– The Okoboji city council last (Tues.) evening adopted several changes to the city’s zoning ordinances.
One changes the definition of the height of a building; others estblish new side yard setback requirements in single family residential districts; multi-family residential districts and lakeshore residential districts.
Another prohibits shared ownership development uses of properties within residentially-zoned districts in the city.
Following public hearings on each, the council voted to approve the first reading, waived the second and third readings, and unanimously adopted the changes.
The revisions were recommended by the Planning and Zoning commission, which voted on them at its meeting August 5th.
