(Des Moines)– Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney announced Monday State Senator David Johnson of Ocheyedan has signed on as his campaign manager for northwest Iowa.
Johnson is an assistant Senate leader and is the top Republican on the Senate Agriculture Committee and the Senate Health and Human Services Subcommittee.
Johnson will offer his insight and advice to Romney on issues facing the region. He’ll also assist in Romney’s grassroots development in Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, O’Brien, Osceola and Palo Alto counties.
