(Hartley)– A single-vehicle mishap late last week in O’Brien county sent a Hartley woman to the hospital with possible injuries.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Wendy Peters of Hartley was southbound on Vine Avenue about a half-mile north of Highway 18 when she lost control on the slush-covered road. Authorities say the vehicle she was driving slid sideways across the road as she tried to correct. It went into the east ditch and rolled along a fence line.
Peters was taken to the Primghar hospital for treatment of a possible injury.
12-thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 2004 Ford Freestar she was driving.
The mishap took place shortly after 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
