O’Brien County Crash Sends One Person To The Hospital

February 25, 2022 Steve Schwaller

(Sutherland)– An accident Thursday in the 5,000 mile of Highway 59 in O’Brien county sent one person to the hospital.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 53-year-old Scott Waggoner of Sutherland was driving a straight truck loaded with feed southbound and was turning into the driveway of a hog confinement. Deputies say Waggoner then lost control of the truck, which turned over onto its driver’s side. Waggoner was trapped in the cab and had to be extricated. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Cherokee hospital.

Damage to the truck was estimated at $15,000.
