(Primghar)– A single vehicle crash Saturday evening in O’Brien county resulted in multiple injuries. The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 38-year-old Francis Kanas of Salem, Oregon was driving a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan westbound on County Road B-40 when he lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered road. The van went into the ditch and came to rest in a field.

Kanas and three passengers were taken to hospitals in Primghar and Spencer.
