O’Brien Co. Traffic Stop Results In Arrest Of Indiana Man

November 22, 2014

(Primghar)– A traffic stop last week in O’Brien county resulted in the arrest of an Indiana man on drug charges.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle for speeding Thursday north of Paullina on County Road L48.

Upon investigating, the deputy determined the driver, 46-year-old Thomas Bentley of Peru, Indiana, was allegedly intoxicated and in possession of small amounts of what’s alleged to be cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Bentley was booked into jail on charges of possession of marijuana, operating while intoxicated, driving without a valid license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bentley was released Friday after posting a two-thousand dollar bond.

He is to appear in court at a later date.
