(Spencer)– Fire has destroyed a building at Hurst Auto Salvage on the north side of Spencer. Firefighters were called to the scene around 12:30 this (Tues.) afternoon and found smoke billowing from the structure that reportedly contained some automobiles, petroleum products, empty welding tanks and other items.
No injuries were reported. Firefighters were still on the scene late this (Tues.) afternoon monitoring hot spots.
The Spencer, Fostoria and Everly fire departments responded to the scene.
There’s been no word on a possible cause.
