New Year’s Eve Crash On I-90 Results In Minor Injuries

(Jackson, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash New Year’s Eve on Interstate 90 in Jackson county.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 35-year-old Yulia Neydelman of Sioux Falls was following a snowplow eastbound when it kicked up a cloud of snow causing white-out conditions. Neydelman hit the brakes, causing the vehicle to spin out and collide with another eastbound vehicle driven by 18-year-old Taylor Steenstra of Hadley, Minnesota.

Neydelman sustained a bump on the head, but didn’t seek immediate treatment. No injuries were reported to Steentra.

Moderate damage was reported to a 1998 Nissan driven by Neydelman and to a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Steenstra.

The mishap took place shortly after 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
