(Milford)– Okoboji Middle School has a new Principal.
Meeting in special session last Thursday, the school board approved the hiring of Ryan Cunningham to the position effective this coming August 1st.
Cunningham is currently a Middle School science teacher in the Pella School District near Des Moines.
Cunningham tells KUOO news he looks forward to getting acquainted with the Okoboji School District, it’s patrons, students and staff.
Cunningham is a 2001 graduate of Central College and is getting his Master’s Degree from Drake University.
While Okoboji has a new Middle School Principal, it’s looking for a new Elementary Principal. The school board also last week accepted the resignation of Bart Mason, who’s accepted the Principal job at Kirkwood Elementary School in Iowa City.
