“We will be introducing seven new sculptures on that sculpture trail. Last year it was really exciting that we got to have the grand opening for that and open that up for the first time, and we’ll have seven new artists from around the country that are going to feature their works on that trail. And there’s something absolutely spectacular about seeing public art out in nature. You know you’re out in the trees, you’re on the trail, and you’re coming across artwork. And there’s no open hours with that. It’s open all the time. You can view the art any time.”
A special event to unveil the additional sculptures will be held this Thursday, June 18th, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on the trail at the Pearson Lakes Art Center.
