(Spencer)– A long-time local broadcaster has been named the new Executive Director of the Iowa Great Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Bill Campbell of Spencer begins his new duties with the Red Cross March 5th.
Campbell has been in broadcasting 32 years and says it was a difficult decision to leave the career after that long, but he says he likes helping people and that’s what the Red Cross is all about.
The Iowa Great Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross serves Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Palo Alto and Kossuth counties.
It’s office is in Spencer.
