(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man was injured this past Thursday after losing control of a motorcycle at the four-way stop at the Highways 9 and 71 intersection in Spirit Lake.
Police say 29-year-old Blake Bergman was in the left turn lane of Highway 9 and was attempting to turn south onto Highway 71 when he lost control of a 2018 Harley Davidson. Bergman was ejected from the motorcycle after it started to fishtail and stopped abruptly.
He was cited for careless driving.
