(Arnolds Park)– A motorcycle accident Sunday in the Moore Lake area southeast of Arnolds Park sent a Milford woman to the hospital.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Arlyn Nissen of Milford was southwestbound on 182nd Street when he lost control due to the kickstand being left down. The motorcycle went off the road a short distance. A passenger, 43-year-old Tracy Nissen of Milford, was thrown off the back of the bike and onto the pavement.
She was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake with what was described as non-incapacitating injuries.
No injuries were reported to Arlyn Nissen.
The mishap took place shortly before 4:00 p.m.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Okoboji Police Department, Milford Fire and Rescue, Arnolds Park Fire and Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance.
