Minor Injury Reported In Semi/Pickup Collision

(Jackson, Mn.)– A collision Monday on Highway 71 five miles north of Jackson involving a semi tractor-trailer and a pickup resulted in minor injuries to one of the drivers.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 64-year-old Clarence Campbell of Linton, North Dakota was driving a 1996 Ford pickup east on 860th Street and 48-year-old Daniel Law of Cushing, Iowa was driving a 2002 semi tractor pulling a trailer loaded with boat trailers on Highway 71 when the two collided in the intersection.

Campbell was treated on the scene by paramedics for a minor injury; no injuries were reported to Law.

Severe damage was reported to the pickup and the semi tractor/trailer and it contents.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

The mishap took place shortly before 8:00 a.m.
