Minor Injuries Reported In Collision Of Two Semis

(Worthington, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported Saturday when two semis collided at the junction of Nobles County Road 1 and Highway 60.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 57-year-old James Roth of Milford was driving a 1999 Volvo semi westbound on County Road One and 45-year-old Edward Rolfes of LeMars was driving a 2002 Freightliner semi southbound on Highway 60 when they collided in a T-bone type crash.

Roth and Edwards were taken by ambulance to the Worthington hospital. Roth was treated and released; Rolfes was treated for a sore hip and back.

The Volvo truck driven by Roth was totaled; minor damage was reported to the Freightliner truck driven by Rolfes with moderate damage to the trailer.

The mishap took place around 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
