(Spencer)– A bicyclist sustained minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday at the intersection of South Grand Avenue and Fourth Street Southeast in Spencer.
Police say 33-year-old Kandi Fox of Spencer was driving a 1998 Chevrolet mini-van on Fourth Street Southeast and was making a right-turn after stopping for a red light when she collided with a bicycle ridden by 26-year-old Anne Felicia of Spencer.
Felicia was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital complaining of pain in her left hip and leg and a cut toe.
No injuries were reported to Fox.
Fox told officers she couldn’t see the bike due to a pole and utility box.
No citations were issued.
The mishap took place shortly after Noon Wednesday.
