(Spirit Lake)—A Milford man faces charges for allegedly trying to break into some locked offices at Lakes Regional Healthcare.
Spirit Lake police say officers were called to the hospital shortly after 7:30 this (Mon.) morning after getting a report of a man with a knife that was trying to break into some locked offices on the east side of the hospital.
As the result of an investigation, police arrested 35-year-old Stewart VanMaasdam of Milford. He was charged with attempted burglary in the first degree…a class “C” felony. VanMaasdam was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
