(Milford)– Several charges have been filed against a Milford man in connection with a traffic stop shortly after 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the junction of Highways 71 and 86 on the north edge of Milford.
According to court documents, 19-year-old Jeffrey Wittler of Milford was initially charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense. An additional charge of criminal mischief in the fourth degree was filed against Wittler for allegedly kicking out the passenger-side window of a Milford police squad car as he was being transported to the Dickinson county jail. An additional charge of assault on a peace officer was filed against Wittler for allegedly headbutting a deputy at the Sheriff’s Office.
Total bond was set at three-thousand dollars.
