(Sibley)– Charges have been filed against a Michigan teen for allegedly trying to kill a Sibley woman earlier this month.
Court records show 18-year-old Veronica Peckens of Lake Ann, Michigan has been charged with attempted murder, willful injury causing bodily injury and assault with intent to inflict serious injury.
The charges against Peckens were filed earlier this week in Osceola County District Court. They stem from an incident back on December 2nd in which the victim had been stabbed several times at a residence in Sibley.
A court appearance for Peckens is set for February 15th, 2022.
