(Spirit Lake)– A report of some smoke in a house sent the Spirit Lake Fire Department into action this (Monday) morning.
Fire Chief David Kollasch says firefighters were called to the Mark and Valerie Welch residence at 3501 35th Street around 9:40 a.m. Kollasch says the source of the smoke was a malfunction in a furnace air conditioning unit. He says firefighters ventilated the house and there was no damage or injuries.
The Spirit Lake Fire Department was on the scene about 45 minutes.
