(Okoboji)– A longtime member of the Okoboji City Council who will be stepping down at the end of this month was recognized at Monday’s meeting. Jerry Robinson didn’t seek re-election to another term and is calling it quits after 16 years at the council table…
Robinson says there’s a lot he’s going to miss, especially when it comes to the constituents he’s worked with over the years and fellow council members…
Mayor Mary Vanderwoude presented Robinson with a plaque honoring him for his years of service. Robinson plans to continue to represent the city on the Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire Board and will continue to serve on the Dickinson County Water Quality Commission.
