Lakeside Lab’s Summer Camps are filling quickly. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Iowa Lakeside Laboratory’s Summer Camp registration is underway.
Education Coordinator Ashley Sheve says some camps are already full, but quite a few are still open to participants. “Our Goofy Critters Camp, which is for preschoolers, still has some spots available. Frog Camp for 5th through 6th graders has some spots available. Our Outdoor Recreation Camp for 8th through 10th graders and the Bees & Breeze Sailing Camp in partnership with the Okoboji Sailing Center has some spots available and then, our Girls in Science Pajama Party also has spots available.”
She added that there is still some space in the No School Camp slated for March 11. “That one’s going to be 9am to 3 pm. Okoboji and Spirit Lake both don’t have school that day, so it’s for 5th through 8th graders.”
