(Spirit Lake)– A Lake Park man was injured today (Wednesday) when he was struck by a vehicle while walking in the parking lot of the Spirit Lake Fareway store.
Police say 86-year-old Harvey Snow of Lake Park was backing a vehicle when he struck John Nehman of Milford. Snow told authorities he didn’t see Nehman, who was walking behind the vehicle as Snow was backing out of a parking stall.
Nehman was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with undisclosed injuries.
No charges were filed.
The mishap took place around Noon.
