(Estherville)– The help wanted sign is out as construction on the Green Plains Renewable Energy plant at Superior winds down.
Bob Becker of the Spencer Iowa Workforce Development Office tells KUOO news that agency, along with Green Plains Renewable Energy, will hold a job fair Monday, November 5th from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Iowa Workforce Development Office in Estherville located at 620 First Avenue South.
Becker says the company will be accepting applications and interviewing for a number of positions, including plant manager, maintenance manager, lab manager, production manager, 12 operators, four utility technicians, maintenance technicians, lab technicians, material handlers and a scale house operator.
The 50 million gallon Superior Ethanol Plant is slated to begin production in early 2008. It will employ about 30 people.
