(Arnolds Park)– Jeff Vierkant will be stepping down as CEO of Historic Arnolds Park, Amusement Park Inc. effective at the end of January, 2022. The organization’s Board of Directors made the announcement this (Monday) evening. Vierkant has served in that capacity since April of 2018.
In a press release, board Chairman Charlie Whittenburg expressed thanks to Vierkant for his work and “the culture that he has helped us to build during this time at Arnolds Park.”
Vierkant expressed his thanks to the board and community, adding he will “most certainly miss the many interactions with our guests and the stories of how Arnolds Park has brought joy to so many over the generations.” Vierkant adds it was a privilege to be part of the team and that he’s proud of the organization’s accomplishments and support of the community.
The release goes on to say that a search for a new CEO will take place over the next month.
It doesn’t say what Vierkant’s future plans are.
