(Jackson, Mn.)– Authorities in Jackson county think they’ve solved a recent rash of burglaries with the arrest of a Windom man.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Steven Husaboe was taken into custody after they executed a search warrant on his vehicle that turned up items taken in burglaries August 1st and 5th at farms in Minneota and Wisconsin Townships.
Authorities say an additional search warrant was executed on Husaboe’s apartment in Windom that resulted in additional items being seized.
Deputies believe Husaboe was staking out other properties when he was taken into custody Wednesday evening near 475th Avenue and 715th Street in Minneota Township.
A news release issued by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office doesn’t mention anything about charges…only that Husaboe was being held in jail pending a court appearance.
