(Jackson, Mn.)– A single-vehicle rollover early Saturday in Jackson county injured a Paynesville, Minnesota man.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Gary Bronstad of Paynesville was driving a 2000 Oldsmobile van westbound on 780th Street when he lost control. The van went into the north ditch and rolled several times, coming to rest in a soybean field.
Bronstad was ejected from the vehicle.
He was taken by ambulance to Jackson Sanford Medical Center and was airlifted to Sioux Falls. There was no word on the extent of his injuries.
The vehicle was totaled.
Authorities say the mishap took place around 2:45 a.m. and that it remains under investigation.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Jackson Fire Department, Jackson Ambulance Service and the Jackson Police Department.
