ISU Extension & Outreach Dickinson County Offering Winter Break Camps

December 08, 2021 Steve Schwaller

(Spirit Lake)– If you’re looking for a way to keep the kids occupied over the holiday break, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Dickinson County, has an idea. K-12 Educator Hannah Dibble says they’ll be offering three different “winter break camps”…

“The week between Christmas and New Years we have a babysitter training camp for youth 11 and older; we have a nutcracker STEM challenge camp that is going to be a great time for youth in second through fourth grade; and on the 30th we have Blast Into The New Year and that will be a STEM camp as well with some fun space activities and we’ll celebrate the moon year a bit early.”

You can find more information and sign up for the camps by visiting the Dickinson County 4-H and Youth Facebook page, the ISU Extension Dickinson County website or by calling the office at 336-3488.
