Lakeside Lab is offering No School Camps this fall, KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
Iowa Lakeside Laboratory is offering No School Camps for area students during the next couple of months. Education Coordinator Ashley Hansen says several camps will be offered for different age groups. “We have one for our K-4th graders on October 18, which is a no school day for our Spirit Lake District, and then we have another one for K-4th graders on October 29, which is a no school day for Okoboji, Harris-Lake Park and Graettinger- Terril School Districts. Students that aren’t in these districts are still welcome to join us, if they don’t have school those days. We have our 5th-8th grade No School Camp on November 12, which is a no school day for Spirit Lake, and then we have another 5th-8th grade on December 6, which is a no school day for Okoboji.”
She notes that registration will start on October 1. “Our registration link will be on our website this Friday, October 1. So, parents can register their students that way or they can go to our facebook page. The registration link will also be posted there. We are capping the camps at 12 students per camp, and it does cost $20.”
