Iowa Lakes Community College Announces Second Of Four Finalists For President’s Job

(Estherville)– Trustees with Iowa Lakes Community College have announced the name of the second of the four finalists in the running to become the college’s next President. Dr. Eric Dunker currently serves as Associate Vice President and Dean of Business, Technology and Workforce Partnerships at Arapahoe Community College in Colorado.

Dr. Dunker has 17 years of experience in higher education, having served previously a the Coastal Regional Director for Oregon State University. He holds a BSBA in Business with an MS in student Affairs in Higher Education and has a Ph.D. In Curriculum and Instruction.

Dr. Dunker is scheduled to visit Iowa Lakes Community campuses Wednesday. He’ll be present for an open forum at 10:00 am at the Emmetsburg campus and 1:15 pm at the Estherville campus.

Open forums were held today (Tues.) for another finalist, Dr. Martin Reimer who current serves as Provost at Ellsworth Community College.
