Investigation Under Way Into Death Of Young Child

(Storm Lake)– An investigation is underway into the death of a young child in Storm Lake. Police and paramedics were called to a residence around 11:30 pm Tuesday after getting a report of a seven-year-old child who wasn’t breathing. Lifesaving efforts were performed and the child was taken to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead.

An autopsy is being performed by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
