(Estherville)– Iowa Lakes Community College is the recipient of a $1,000 Tourism Grant from the Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce for its 2026-’27 Performing Arts Series.
The grant is funded by lodging tax revenue and will help offset lodging expenses for visiting artists and production personnel participating in the six-event series. The 2026-’27 Performing Arts Series will feature regional and nationally touring performers in a number of genres.
Officials say they look forward to building on the inaugural season of the series, which brought nearly 1,000 attendees. They expect that number will grow to 1,500 this upcoming season.
In addition to public performances, the series will offer educational outreach opportunities consisting of workshops, clinics and school engagements led by guest artists.
The upcoming series will run from September, 2026 through March, 2027 at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center on the Estherville Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. More information can be found at https://iowalakes.edu/janice-k-lund-performing-arts-center/
