(Estherville)– A new Insitutional Advancement Executive Director has been hired at Iowa Lakes Community College pending approval by the college’s board of trustees.
Jolene Rogers has eight years of experience with Iowa Lakes and is currently the Grants and Development Coordinator where she develops and implements projects for a large number of college offices. She also has experience in institutional research and has worked as a staff accountant in Spirit Lake and in community economic development in Floyd and Mitchell counties.
The majority of fundraising at the college focuses on scholarship dollars for students. Rogers will also work with area individuals and businesses and industries to establish long-term endowments and gifts to the college.
Rogers has an Associate in arts degree from Iowa Lakes; a Bachelor of Science Degree from Buena Vista University; and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southwest State University.
